MILFORD Much needed Chromebooks for students in the Delaware Valley School District will be easier to purchase, thanks to a generous donation from The Dime Bank.
The $7,500 donation was made to Greater Pike Community Foundation through the state of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. The program awards tax credits to businesses making significant contributions to educational programs.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chromebooks will help students virtually attend extracurricular activities in science, technology, engineering and math.
This will help high schoolers in the Engineering Club, for example, as well as middle school Summer Science Camp attendees and elementary students participating in approved Lego Coding Club activities, and others.
