Prince George RCMP respond to Floatplane crash in the Fraser River

The Prince George RCMP responded to a floatplane that crashed into the Fraser River water earlier today (Wednesday).
According to Prince George RCMP Constable Jeniffer Cooper, police were called to the incident which occurred halfway between the Shelley Bridge and the Fraser River Bridge at about 3:30.
Two people were safely removed from the plane as police worked with the Conservation Officer Service, BCAS, and the Prince George Fire Rescue.
Cooper says it is unknown if the occupants of the plane were injured.

Police remove $7,300 worth of Meth and Fentanyl from Prince George streets

The Prince George RCMP’s Downtown Safety Unit has been targetting street-level drug dealing over the past couple of weeks, which has resulted in the seizure of illicit drugs, cash, weapons, and drug paraphernalia.
Police were called to an incident on April 14th, where the caller reported witnessing overt drug use on the 1400 Block of 9th Ave.
Upon arrival, Downtown Safety Unit Officers arrested three people that are well known to police who were seen participating in a “hand-to-hand” transaction.
Police respond to multiple Monday night bear spray attacks

The Prince George RCMP responded to two bear spray attacks on Monday night.
The first incident occurred at 8:30 pm at a business on the 1700 Block of Queensway.
“In that incident, there was an unknown assailant that just randomly sprayed the victim with bear spray,” explained PG RCMP Constable Jeniffer Cooper.
A little while later at about 10:40 pm, a woman sitting in her car at the Central Street Tim Horton’s was approached by a male suspect.
He asked then asked her to roll down her window and the suspect then quickly attacked.
