With June being Dairy Month, and July being Ice Cream Month, the local dairy association wants area businesses to know that the princesses are available to help promote dairy by handing out treats. They'll also be making appearances at parades and other community events this summer.
Dave and Jen Schwantes operate a 90-cow dairy farm outside of Perham. Along with their cows, they raise corn, alfalfa, sorghum and barley on 300 acres for feed.
