Wales Women’s manager Gemma Grainger has confirmed four backroom appointments ahead of a June training camp.
All were involved in last month’s matches against Canada and Denmark, and are part of the FAW’s commitment to increase resources and support for the National Women’s Team in order to reach a major tournament for the first time in the side’s history.
Loren Dykes and Richard Thomas are each appointed as an Assistant Coach, Dykes is currently undertaking her UEFA A licence coaching qualification and will be joining the FAW on a full time basis, while Thomas spent the last two years in the men’s game as the academy manager at Watford FC and was formerly an assistant coach at Notts County.

A total of five players will move on from the Reds when their deals run out at the end of June.
Midfielder
Amy Rodgers leaves the club after 50 appearances and four goals during five years with the team following her emergence from the LFC Women Academy.
Forward
Jess Clarke made 68 appearances and scored 10 goals after arriving from Notts County in April 2017.
Fellow attacker
Kirsty Linnett has spent the last three years with Liverpool, scoring seven goals in her 52 outings.

Liverpool FC Women have confirmed five players will leave when their contracts run out at the end of June.
Originally at the club’s academy, Amy Rodgers leaves the after 50 appearances, Jess Clarke joined in 2017 and played 68 times, Kirsty Linnett had 52 outings in three seasons, Becky Jane 36 in two years and Amalie Thestrup 21 after signing up for the current campaign.
A spokesperson for LFC Women thanked all the players for their contributions during their time with the Reds, telling liverpoolfc.com: “These are always difficult decisions and we would like to thank all our departing players for their efforts.
