Residents of Calgary through to Claresholm can enter the contest. Prizes are being awarded in four categories: family/adult three-dimensional gingerbread house; under 17, no adult help three-dimensional gingerbread house (it can be made from a kit); all ages one-dimensional gingerbread house cookie (the cookie must be in the shape of a house or building); businesses can submit a gingerbread house that reflects their business. Those who want to enter have until Dec. 23 at 11 p.m. to submit pictures of their completed gingerbread house to the Facebook page of the 2020 Nanton Gingerbread House Contest. Include the name of the person entering the contest and which category being entered.
