A graduation ceremony was held on April 1 to celebrate the Itawamba County Development Council Jr. Leadership Class of 2021.

The group was finally able to have its first in person meeting January when they toured the Itawamba Community College Belden campus.

A couple transported 1kg of cocaine from Liverpool to south Wales because they thought they could get away with it, a judge said.
Dad-of-three Corey Casagrande, 34, and Jemma Connor, 27, were caught red-handed as they were driving along the A449.
The pair were arrested after police performed a tactical stop and found the huge haul of drugs.
In the footwell of the vehicle was a stash of the Class A drug with a wholesale value of around £40,000 – and a street value of many times that.
