BOULDER – Colorado women s tennis team heads to Arizona this weekend to take on Arizona Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT and then No.36/33-ranked Arizona State Saturday at noon.
Colorado (8-9, 2-5 Pac-12) is receiving votes in the ITA Women s Tennis Coaches Poll after coming off its 4-3 upset of Washington State Sunday. These are the final two regular season road matches for the Buffs 2021 season.
Sara Nayar is leading Colorado after upsetting both the No.52-ranked singles player in the nation and 86th-ranked player last weekend and going 4-0 with a pair of doubles wins as well. She is now 8-8 this season and 2-3 against ranked opponents.

Delaney Schnell added to her impressive list of accomplishments over the weekend by winning the Pac-12 platform title while setting a new school and conference record in the event.
The Tucson-native made the most of Arizona hosting the 2021 Pac-12 Women’s Swim and Dive Championships. During prelims, Schnell scored a record-setting dive of 383.25. She followed that up with a 364.50 in the platform final, earning her a second consecutive individual conference title.
