Thursday, February 18, 2021 - 11:35 am BY JIMMY LAWTON North Country This Week OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg Mayor Jeffrey Michael Skelly has been charged with harassment following an incident in which he is accused of shoving former firefighter Gerald Mack to the ground using his shoulder outside of city hall. Skelly says he intends to fight the charges in court and says the allegations against him are false. The incident is alleged to have occurred Dec. 9 and was reportedly captured on a camera owned by the state court system. Although police began investigating the incident in December and filed paperwork in courts in January, the case was moved from city court to Canton court and then from there to Fowler court due to potential conflicts of interest.
