She believed he died from either an infection or pneumonia, with a post-mortem examination expected to be completed on Tuesday to give more answers. Doctors had started him on antibiotics the day before he died, but Kenworthy was not sure what for.

A man has died more than two months after he was in a crash in the Far North, police say. Jeffrey Eric Srhoj, 48, of Awanui, died in hospital on Saturday after being injured in a crash in the Houhora area on January 28. Police extended their sympathies to Srhoj s family and friends.
