TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - A huge motorcade rolled through Tupelo Monday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
A group called the Modern Beautician s Club sponsored the event, which was themed “Continuing the Dream.”
Participants said, given current times, King’s dream of a better world is more important than ever. And we re excited to continue to fight in spite of all the oppression, in spite of all of the racism, in spite of everything that is going on. The dream still lives, pastor Dr. Jeffery Gladney said.
