CHIMACUM — The East Jefferson Fire and Rescue commissioners have unanimously passed a measure that would elevate Assistant Chief of Operations and Training Pete Brummel to deputy fire chief.
Stanford professor of biology Hunter Fraser was located on June 10 after being reported missing on Wednesday on a hike in Washington. While missing, Fraser was scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary examination after being charged with a domestic violence felony in November 2022; the hearing has since been rescheduled to June 28.
