What to do with your ballot for the May special election in Oregon

Check your mailbox for your ballot. They were mailed out starting Wednesday, April 28.
Voters should mail their ballots in time to be received by elections officials by May 18, or drop off their ballots at a ballot drop site by 8 p.m. on Election Day. The recommended last day to mail a ballot is May 11.
You do not have to live in the same county as the ballot drop location you use. The elections office will mail your ballot to the correct county.
You can also cast a ballot in person at any county elections office.
Jefferson City Hall
A reminder that with President’s Day to be celebrated on Monday, several offices and businesses will be closed in Jefferson.
The Greene County Courthouse, Greene County ISU Extension Office, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and Jefferson Post Office will be closed in observance of the holiday. Jefferson library staff reminds patrons that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
Jefferson residents are reminded that residential garbage routes will be delayed by one day. Garbage routes will then go back to normal schedules the following week.
