The Wayne, Edwards, and Wabash County Farm Bureaus were each awarded the Illinois Farm Bureau Pinnacle Award for their respective membership groups Saturday at the 2021 IFB Annual Meeting in Chicago. The Pinnacle Award is given to the number one county Farm Bureau in each membership group for their outstanding programs and activities. The Volunteers for the Christmas Dinner will again hold a dinner on Christmas Day at the Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located east of WalMart. As with last year, only carry-out, drive-through, and delivery options will be available this year. Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. People wanting a delivery should call 599-8875 or 919-3534 between 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and noon Christmas Day to place an order.
