New Army policies target service members who refuse to get inoculated with coronavirus vaccine

https://www.afinalwarning.com/508354.html (Natural News) A number of new policies in the United States Army are purportedly aimed at service members who decline Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines. These policies, including restriction of movement and limited access to facilities, are in place in at least two military reservations. While the U.S. Army cannot mandate vaccinations, the new rules appear to be a not-so-subtle approach to coerce military personnel into getting immunized against COVID-19. A memorandum by Maj. Gen. Brian J. Mennes released on March 17 outlined a number of privileges available to vaccinated personnel. Mennes commands the Fort Drum military reservation, located in New York state.

Pentagon insists vaccine rollout a success despite spotty data

By Ellen Mitchell - 04/11/21 08:46 PM EDT   The Pentagon is touting its rollout of coronavirus vaccines even as it is unable to say how many service members have actually received COVID-19 vaccinations.  Defense Department (DOD) officials say they have delivered more than 2 million shots, but a lack of hard numbers has made it difficult to determine how many of those have gone into the arms of troops versus military families and civilian employees. The uncertainty was apparent on Friday when the Navy s 7th Fleet claimed 96 percent of its personnel were fully vaccinated, only to pull back that assertion after it appeared it had overstated the results.

Military efforts to halt the spread of the COVID-19 have now been cited in at least two investigations into fatal accidents, and leaders in Washington say they re concerned about the pandemic s long-term effects on safety and readiness. The global pandemic has wreaked havoc on military training over the last year. From temporarily halting the influx of new recruits at boot camp to canceling large-scale international exercises once troops arrived in-country, all the military services have had to grapple with constantly changing circumstances during the world s biggest health crisis in a generation.

Marines vaccine hesitancy presents early test for Biden as commander-in-chief

Fox News Flash top headlines are here. Check out what s clicking on Foxnews.com. Many U.S. Marines  hesitancy to receive coronavirus vaccinations could prove to be a sticking point for President Biden as some Democrats pressure him to mandate vaccinations for service members. Nearly 40% of U.S. Marines who have been offered the coronavirus vaccine declined, according to data released last week. That translates to approximately 75,500 Marines who have received the vaccine, and approximately 48,000 who have declined the vaccine. More than 100,000 Marines have yet to be offered the coronavirus vaccine, however. We fully understand that widespread acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine provides us with the best means to defeat this pandemic. The key to addressing this pandemic is building vaccine confidence. The vaccine is voluntary for all personnel at this time because the vaccines are authorized under an Emergency Use Authorization from the Food and Drug Administration, Marine Corps
