Just very strange situation. Sad situation. We were told Andre Jackson was originally treated by the medical staff at the stadium and was taken to university hospitals. He was released on saturday, but on sunday night, he was taken by ems to uh as Rainbow Babies and childrensai hospital, where he died. University hospitals issued a statement that reads we express our defensesi deepest sympathy o andres family. We are conducting a fullmi reviw of his care andwi with his family. Parents and grandparents say they are still trying to figure outry why it took about three hours for their children tobo gt home from School Friday afternoon. Around 4 45 they called the school and no answer so they callh police. The elementary age children did not get home until after 6 00. School officials re investigating exactly what happened. This is what they know so far. The students were transferred ta a new bus number but the change was not communicated to the School Friday. So another bus driver added the students to his stops, thinking their bus was delayed. The district says the bus driver meant well but it does not excuse the unnecessary delay or the confusion it caused for several families. Were afraid there was an accident with a bus may be.
