Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veterans Marty Weber and Jeff Poissant. They were business partners, both loved natured, and most importantly friends. 4 years ago, Jeff lost his battle to cancer. It was Marty who wanted to honor Jeff’s memory and help other Veterans in need, by donating 36 rural acres of land to be used as a rehabilitation center and retreat for mental illness and addiction and it’s called “Jeff’s Camp”. Before donating the land, Marty was offered $3 million dollars to sell it, he declined, because what he had in mind was worth so much more than money. Thank you Marty for your generosity and THANK YOU Marty and Jeff for your service.

Here s today s feel-good story:
Marty Weber and Jeff Poissant share many things in common including owning a business together, loving nature, and serving in the U.S. Army.
After Poissant passed away from cancer a few years ago, Weber wanted to honor the union they had for over 30 years by supporting veterans in need.
Weber decided the best way to do that would be to donate 36 acres near New Jersey s Pineland National Reserve to be used as a rehabilitation center/retreat for those with mental illness and addiction.
