there, so, so far this storm is taking its time coming north and it looks like it s going to come north but i don t know if it will take total landfall. i don t know well, but the newest model coming in right now say the western eye wall is going to go over kennedy space center and that wester eye wall has 100 to 130-miles-an-hour and will do catastrophic damage where it comes across heavy-populated areas. i m concerned about the kennedy space center, and related to weather, we got word this afternoon, there was a gozar satellite, all the weather buffs out there that s going to launch in november and it s actually the weather and they pulled the satellite from the kennedy space center and i understand they remove today from the kennedy space center this afternoon and got it out of the path of the hurricaine because they were worried that buildings would be compromised so that s some other news kind of interesting for today. that s very interesting to report. let me ask you about this

jack caparish, flight direct there. i want to go to the phone, an accuweather extreme meteorologist. what are you telling us? what do you know? reporter: i m in cocoa beach right now. probably had winds gusting to 50 miles to 60-miles-an-hour and the hurricaine is still 100 miles to the southwest, so that s a sign there s lot more to come and i observed power flashes to the south of me, down the barrier island, which is consistent to what jeff piotroski was saying. maybe we ll catch a power flash, but as the hurricaine moves closer you re going to see a lot more of these explosions, and it definitely illuminates the sky before the power goes out. the storm is just getting started, approaching from the southeast, and when that eye wall comes in that s when we ll get the winds gusting to hurricaine force. we ll probably have the power go out. right now we re in a concrete
