Markman s has sold jewelry and watches locally for nearly 45 years, and that and its location in a landmark midcentury brick building on busy Kingston Pike have helped it be as noticeable as some of its pieces.
These days, the business is operated by second and third generation members of the Markman families. A little over three years ago, Jeff Markman, a grandson of founder Harold Markman, began helping his father, Steve Markman, run the business after doing consulting and other business-related work in places like Chicago and North Carolina.
