arrests. an ohio teenager alive and well after a dramatic underground water rescue. 14-year-old jeff laporta was riding his bike near cleveland when he fell into a creek and got sucked into a storm drain. his friend ran for help. the water carried him 1,500 feet. rescuers assumed they would be recovering the 8th grader s body. when they called his name through a manhole he answered. it was dark. it was scary. it was nasty. it was like somebody was like putting you in a big whirlpool and and spinning you around and getting your head knocked on the wall and stuff. laporta said he thought he was going to die. amazingly suffered a few cuts and bruises. lucky kid. very lucky kid. claustrophobic person s worst nightmare. no kidding. here s your thursday forecast, everybody. heavy rain from lingering remnants of isaac. can t believe we re still talking about this storm, some of the effects being felt along
