On this memorial day, Santa Barbara remembered the victims of a killing rampage. Six people, all students at the university of california Santa Barbara, were stabbed or shot to death. Tomorrow, classes will be canceled for a service. One of the makeshift memorials. This one near the scene of one of the shootings on friday night. This is a tragedy with no shortage of warning signals. And the question being raised tonight were they missed . We have Team Coverage tonight beginning with danielle nottingham. Danielle . They want to know where these prescription pills came from. These were opioid medications. Theyre typically used to treat pain, and theyre also commonly abused. Theyre very commonly abused. Theyre very addictive, and thats one reason why we dont have a lot of control over who takes them and how theyre prescribed. We are told that the dea is now working on that, trying to figure out whether he had a prescription, where these pills were particularly from a doctor and why that was, and thats what the local authorities [ inaudible ] these are opioid medications that were found in the home and on him. I want to repeat because we had some trouble at the top of the show hearing what you said first. The breaking news is that Law Enforcement authorities investigating the death of prince found prescription opioid medication on him and in his home. Thats what a Law Enforcement official is telling cnn. The pills are commonly used to treat pain, and investigators have brought in the dea to help wit
You have to consider a change at the top. Anthony scaramucci who served for 11 days as Communications Director for the white house and defended the president relentlessly on tv since then tells us that the president is giving people a license to hate and that Anthony Scaramucci lo nonger backs the president for reelection. He calls him out and says he will no longer support. Here are highlights. Last time i was in this chair with you, john, we were talking about the racially charged rhetoric that led to a whole twitter nonsense from the president. Obviously he then left to go to the two shooting areas. So now he comes back from the two shooting areas, that was a total catastrophe. The only thing he was doing in those areas is talking about himself and praising himself and crowd sizes. Just one day after the next, it gets worse and worse and worse.
