‘Wheel of Time’ Snags Early Season 2 Renewal at Amazon Rick Porter
The streamer has renewed the fantasy series based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling novels. The pickup comes as production is wrapping on season one in the Czech Republic. (A premiere date for the series hasn’t been set.)

Barnes will play Ruby Okoro, described as a warm and wise young woman with an old soul who arrives on Fantasy Island with a terminal illness but is given a new lease on life by Roarke and the island. Rodriquez is set to play Javiar, the rugged, handsome, and charismatic head of transport on Fantasy Island. The island provides Javier with refuge, but as is the case with everything else the island offers that may come at the price of a reckoning.
Fantasy Island is the first production from Gemstone Studios who will co-produce with Fox Entertainment.

Mana Contemporary is aiming to convey the magnitude of the earth’s current climate crisis with its new exhibition, Implied Scale: Confronting the Enormity of Climate Change, which opens on April 22. The exhibition will feature five artists who comment on the current climate crises while trying to inspire viewers to take action.
In addition to the exhibit, Mana Contemporary is hosting various virtual panels throughout the month, including one on Earth Day (April 22) with Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop. Mana will also host an in-person, socially distanced event on Saturday, April 24 so that the community can see the exhibit.
