Last Thursday through Sunday was Jeff Dacus’ second time playing George Washington as one of the many historical re-enactors who make the festival possible. Dacus said he’s been fascinated with George Washington for a long time and in his career as a middle-school history teacher in Vancouver, Wash., had many opportunities to visit historical places and further his studies.
