San Francisco Police are announcing a break in the case of a serial arsonist. A man theyve been chasing for more than a week. Kron 4s Philippe Djegal is live in San Francisco with the latest. Philippe . Catherine. Police say the man was arrested this evening. He is off the streets. But his identity and the details surrounding the arrest wont be released until tomorrow. But this is still a bigger rest for the Police Department and the residents. Earlier this week Police Released photos and video asking the public to help identify this man targeting the area. Is suspected of fighting multiple fires at construction sites, occupied buildings, and dumpsters. Anybody who recognize the subjects were asked to contact police. Well in appears that strategy worked. The police say they are confident that they have caught the person they are looking for. We will learn more about him tomorrow.
