The inaugural Johnson County Trail Day took place on Saturday, June 19 and provided an opportunity for the Johnson County community, civic and government organizations to come together for a day jam-packed with more than 14 events and partnerships between organizations and sponsors work toward showcasing the many opportunities available in Johnson County through historical, outdoor and adventure tourism. The event saw a large turnout and Judge-Executive Mark McKenzie said it highlighted the county s natural resources and ways they could be leveraged for the good of the community.
