Lawsuits seek $1.1 million from Washington County for release of Jeb Brock ahead of fatal Portland police shooting.
Washington County officials failed to monitor a parolee or warn others of his dangerous behavior allowing him to attack a man and a woman before he was killed by Portland police, according to a pair of new lawsuits.
Jeb Colin Brock, 42, was high on meth when he stabbed four people in his grandmother s Southeast Portland home before being shot dead by two officers who found him holding a woman hostage at knifepoint around 4:15 a.m. on April 29, 2019, authorities said at the time.
