Luis Villagomez, Center Beyond the mountains, family was one of the most important things in his life. Luis met Teresa in 1982. They later married and adopted two children. Maria and Teresa s families would get together often for holidays and birthdays. He d grill outside for us or fry food on the disco, said Maria Villagomez. He liked grilling meat and vegetables. And of course, food is always the main thing that brings families together. So we did a lot of that while our kids were growing up.
