klein. explain what you re seeing out there? reporter: it s getting worse out here. we are seeing the storm intensify a great deal from what was happening this morning. the wind is picking up, as you can see with gusts of up to 60 miles an hour. we are starting to get heavy rain. in fact, minnesota has set a record today for the lowest pressure ever recorded. that s significant. it will bring in very strong weather. also downed tree branches, downed power lines. 60,000 people without power in indiana. a lot of travel delays as well. indianapolis is seeing some travel delays and here in minneapolis they are talking about shutting down all but one of the runways because of these high winds. you will expect flight delays in minneapolis and throughout the upper midwest later today. this storm may bring snow with it. so we may see blizzard like conditions as it continues. janel klein, thanks so much. we want to head straight the weather channel at the headquarters in atlanta a
