The American Association of University Women, South Lake Tahoe Branch, is hosting a Salad Social at Bijou Park on Wednesday, July 27, from 4pm to 6pm. AAUW-SLT is a membership organization with a focus on advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.

The AAUW – South Lake Tahoe Branch is a branch of the American Association of University Women, a national organization of more than 170,000 members and supporters. Founded in 1881, the AAUW has been the voice heard at the national level promoting education equity for girls and women.
The AAUW today seeks to continue to unite graduates of educational institutions and be a powerful advocate and visible leader in equity and education through research, philanthropy, and measurable change in critical areas impacting the lives of women and girls.
The South Lake Tahoe Branch is one of more than 100 branches in California. As an active branch of the California and National AAUW since 1964, our purpose is to promote equity, education, intellectual growth, individual worth, and development of opportunities for women and girls. We currently have approximately 30 members from both the California and Nevada sides of the south shore
