Funeral services for Jeanne Allsop Love will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Wesley Chapel in Ruston.
Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Jeanne Allsop, second daughter of William and Margery Raven Allsop, was born March 18th, 1934, in Lakenheath, England.
Jeanne attended school in Lakenheath and grew up in a family that would eventually have five children. As they grew up, they were all expected to work. Singling their dad’s sugar beets, or picking strawberries during the season, was all part of the life of the three older girls – Daphne, Jeanne, and Shirley who were close in age.
