Women unite for SPAR Womenâs Virtual Challenge

Cape Town - The SPAR Womenâs Challenge has returned this year and while it will be taking place virtually for the first time, the challenge is set to inspire participants across the country to face their limits, break boundaries and live passionately limitless lives, with the theme #LiveLimitless.
Entries for the event officially open online today at R60 per entry which comes with a pack, consisting of a T-shirt, neck buff, medal and a snack in a reusable bag.
SPAR Western Cape (WC) advertising manager Elsabe van Zyl said they pledged to donate one pack of sanitary pads for every entry received towards the Petals Project for young girls.

Netball South Africa have confirmed a week ago that the 2021 SPAR Challenge will take place as early as January in Cape Town and six teams will be participating that tournament.
This announcement was made during the recently concluded SPAR National Championships held in Bela Bela.
Cecilia Molokwane, Netball South Africa President confirmed that SPAR Proteas, Presidentâs XII, SPAR Baby Proteas (Under 21), Uganda, Namibia and Uganda 21 national teams will be participating at the 2021 SPAR Challenge.
âThe series against Uganda who are ranked seventh in the world is part of our preparations for the Netball World Cup. It is important for our players to play as many competitive matches as possible so that they get some game time under their belts and at the same time give coaches adequate time to try out various combinations,â said Cecilia Molokwane, Netball
