YWCA Northeastern Mass Honors 22 at Next Month s 38th Annual Tribute to Women

By WHAV Staff | 2 hours ago Twenty-two women will be honored in May when YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts presents its 38th Annual Tribute to Women. Since 1983, the YWCA’s Tribute to Women has recognized more than 1,200 Merrimack Valley and North Shore women leaders from business and community organizations. Organizers say, “A hallmark of Tribute is that women honored come from all walks of life; their contributions are varied, and all are remarkable in their own unique way.” The Tribute to Women takes place virtually May 13, at 6:30 p.m.  This year, Tribute to Women’s Diamond sponsor is again Pfizer. Northshore Magazine and WHAV are media partners. it is not snowing or raining but there is slippery driving in north baltimore. what is getting the blame? and why some doctors say they are so worried about antibiotics. live in high definition, from wbff tv in baltimore, this is fox 45 news late edition . hello again, i am jeff barnd. and i am jennifer gilbert. it was a wild ride for a homeless man in frederick this morning. police say he stole a small airplane, and tried to fly it. but he ended up crashing before take off. melinda roeder has the story now from frederick. obviously he was not able to get it off the ground. just after 2:00 when an airport employee spotted a small plane, moving erratically on the runway, without lights. when it was turning and coming back down the runway, he noticed that the plane lost control, went off to the grass. and turned up on the propeller. 51-year-old calvin cox can climbed out of the aircraft unharmed. but when told police were on the way. he tried to run away.
