Jeanette Ball, the superintendent of Judson Independent School District, was named the Region 20 superintendent of the year on Thursday.
A regional selection committee nominated Ball for her leadership skills, her commitment to improving the quality of education at Judson, student performance and her ability to build effective relationships with employees, according to the Texas Association of School Boards, which sponsors the award.
