The Special Olympics Southern California Fall Games took place Nov. 11 and 12 at Fountain Valley Sports Park. Athletes competed in golf, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
Officials said Kelly-Weeder, the current associate dean for graduate programs at the Boston College Connell School of Nursing, will begin as dean of the nursing school July 17.
