Robert W. (Bob) Patterson, 95, of Lewistown and a former Denton resident, died early Sunday morning, Dec. 13, 2020 in Valle Vista Manor of natural causes.
He was born June 28, 1925 in Geraldine, Montana, the son of Orville and Zella (Webb) Patterson. He received his schooling at the Montague School.
On Aug. 11, 1946 he was united in marriage to Betty Jean Rowland in Fort Benton, and the next day left to serve with the United States Army in the Philippines. He returned to the ranch at Geraldine following his discharge in 1948. They lived and ranched there until 1963, when they sold their ranch and purchased a ranch near Denton. In 1972 they sold their ranch and moved into Denton. He served many years as the Mayor of Denton, and drove the school bus for over 20 years, retiring in the late 1980s. They continued to make their home in Denton until moving into the Villa in Lew
