Livista Energy Europe should be the first lithium refiner in Europe to supply the burgeoning electric car market. Conceived by a Luxembourg family office surrounded by experts, the Livista subsidiary has asked Technip to assist it in setting up its first refinery, in Germany. A centre of excellence will also be set up in Luxembourg.
Technip Energies, a specialised spin-off from French consulting engineer TechnipFMC, is to carry out front-end engineering and design for a new lithium refinery in Germany.
