Area residents are invited to enjoy free live music every Saturday at the Jean Lafitte Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center in Thibodaux.
Bands perform from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the center, 314 St. Mary St., as part of the Music on the Bayou program. The park encourages attendees to bring their lawn chairs and immerse themselves in a variety of Louisiana music, including blues, jazz and Cajun.
This month s performers will be Benjamin Bruce (July 17), Corey Ledet (July 25) and Andrea Rhodes (July 31).
