The Hickory Crawdads offense might get the headlines but the teams pitching staff gets the story in a 12-1 thrashing of the Asheville Tourists on the road Thursday.
Hickory once again scored early. In the first inning, Kellen Strahm walked to open the game. Justin Foscue then hit a double that scored Strahm. One our later, Foscue moved to third on a ground out by Trey Hair. Migueal Aparicio was then hit by a pitch. A passed ball allowed Foscue to score.
