I’m Your Woman, directed by Julia Hart and written by Hart and Jordan Horowitz, is the story of a woman named Jean (Rachel Brosnahan) who is forced to go on the run after her husband betrays his partners. She receives help from her husband’s old friends but it’s only a matter of time that they run out of places to hide. It’s an expertly staged movie with unpredictable plot twists and character revelations that are coated with a deep sense of empathy. And despite the slow-burn pacing, it manages to engage you with great cinematography, crisp editing, brilliant costume and production design, and a stellar performance from Rachel Brosnahan.

Every year Ryan Tubridy hosts a Late Late Show country music special but this year’s event was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Until now, that is.
To make things even better for country fans, the main guest on the show will be none other than superstar Dolly Parton, who famously donated a million dollars to aid the search for a Covid-19 vaccine.
THE PROM: 3 STARS Director Ryan Murphy returns to familiar territory with “The Prom,” a high school musical adapted from a Broadway show now streaming on Netflix. The creator of the pop culture juggernaut “Glee” throws subtlety out the window and ups the ante with an all-star cast to bring the all-singing-all-dancing story of inclusivity to glittery life. The action begins on the opening night of a Broadway show, a musical about Eleanor Roosevelt starring two self-involved stage icons, Dee Dee Allen (Meryl Streep) and Barry Glickman (James Corden). When terrible reviews force the show to close on opening night, taking their dreams of Tony Award glory with it, they fear they’ll never work again. Joining in on the pity part are Trent (Andrew Rannells), a Juilliard grad waiting on his big break by bartending at Sardi’s restaurant and Angie Dickinson (Nicole Kidman), a “Chicago” chorus girl who has spent twenty years for her chance of playing Roxie.
