BENGALURU: The Breakthrough Science Society, a collective of scientists and researchers, reiterated that the Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog’s claim about a chip made from Indian cow dung stopping harmful radiation of mobile phones is unscientific. It said the experiment to show the chip’s scientific credentials is flawed.
In October, the chairperson of the RKA, claimed the chip’s ability to prevent harmful radiation was scientifically proven. Over 600 scientists signed an open letter protesting what they termed “propagation of pseudoscience”. The letter was sent to RKA chairperson Vallabhbhai Kathiria on October 18.
The scientists now received a response from Kathiria which they term “comical”. A BSS statement said that along with the reply, Kathiria also sent a letter from the head of the physics department of Saurashtra University, Prof Mihir Joshi, certifying the analysis of the cow dung chip. with this political moment. and tonight, we saw donald trump swear on this stuff, throwing bss around and imitating hillary clinton and jeb bush. is that what this moment calls for? specifically swearing, i don t think he ll lose any votes because of that but i think that that is a problem of everything that trump does, which is in someways unpredictable but something that flies very much in the face of normal politics. he has been very, very effective with credibility been able to be opposite anyone whose been in politics and he can say that i m above the false generalness that marco rubio and jeb bush might engage in when they hate each other, let me tell you, they really hate each other this is part of the message resinating and going to a moment and electret starving for something different. a reason it s different is you are pressing on big questions people are asking for months, where is this going? how does this end?
