KUALA LUMPUR: Starting from Aug 1, Malaysians using the Shuttle Tebrau train service will enjoy a one-way fare of RM5 from JB Sentral to Woodlands, Singapore, and vice versa.
JOHOR BARU: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd’s (KTMB) Tebrau shuttle has resumed operations on Sunday (June 19), says Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The Shuttle Tebrau service from Johor Bahru Sentral (JB Sentral) station to Woodlands station in Singapore resumed operations today, after being suspended for two years following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The train that derailed at KM752.75 - KM753.25 (southbound) near Kampung Kurnia, Johor Baru. The train was heading from Gemas Station towards JB Sentral.
JOHOR BARU: A train went off the tracks near Kampung Kurnia here, but all passengers and staff involved are safe.
Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Padzli Mohd Zain said the police received reports over the matter at about 8.30pm on Saturday (Dec 26) informing them that the incident had occurred at about 7.49pm.
“The incident occurred at KM752.75 to KM753.25 (southbound) when the train was heading towards JB Sentral from Gemas.
“There were five carriages in the derailment: one locomotive, one generator and three passenger carriages, ” he said in a statement here early Sunday (Dec 27).
