Paris, Apr 23 (Prensa Latina) Musicians from Cuba, Barbados, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and other Caribbean countries will celebrate International Jazz Day with an online concert, an event promoted by UNESCO and the Transcultura program, according to diplomatic sources.
The permanent representative of Cuba to UNESCO, Yahima Esquivel, highlighted the importance of the event that will take place on April 30th on its tenth anniversary as a vehicle to promote peace, dialogue and sustainable development.
The event, framed in the Transculture program, which integrates Cuba, the Caribbean and the European Union through culture and creativity, will be held next Friday at 6:00 p.m. local time in Havana.
