Metropolitan police say 5 45 this morning, a sedan and suv collided here at south capitol and southeast. The crash was sufficient and the air bags in the sedan were deployed. Two officers were injured, but not seriously. They just cleared the scene after making all their markings and documents the crash. Again, two officers injured, but not seriously. We dont know whether they were responding to an emergency call whether they had lights and sirens going. We believe these were the only two vehicles involved. The intersection is cleared.
