Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two children who went missing in Miami-Dade County Monday.
Jazmine Brown, 12, and Markevia Wright, 13, are “missing and endangered,” the Miami-Dade Police Department said. The pair may be together and have not had contact with friends or family since they were first reported missing. #MISSING: Jazmine Brown, 12 years old, was last seen in the 28300 Block of SW 124 Place. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Hours after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an Amber Alert on Friday, detectives reported finding two girls, ages 12 and 13, who had vanished on Monday in south Miami-Dade County.
According to Detective Lee Cowart, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, detectives found the girls unharmed at a friend’s house. Belinda Wright, one of the girl’s grandmother, said she was overjoyed to learn detectives found her.
“I want to thank the community for coming together,” Wright said about the many volunteers who helped to search for the girls for about five days. “I feel very wonderful because a lot of kids don’t make it back.”

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. â Hours after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an Amber Alert on Friday afternoon, detectives reported they found the two girls, ages 12 and 13, who had vanished on Monday from south Miami-Dade County.
Detectives found the girls unharmed at a friendâs house, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement had issued the statewide alert for Jazmine Brown, 12, and Markevia Wright, 13, around 3:30 p.m.
Homestead children found safe after AMBER Alert is issued, police say

An AMBER Alert has been canceled for two girls, 12 and 13 years old, who were both considered missing from Homestead, Florida since Monday.
According to Miami-Dade Police Department’s tweet, the missing juveniles were safely recovered Friday after the alert went out.
According to WSVN 7 News’ article, Jazmine Brown, 12, and Markevia Wright, 13, were found unharmed at a friend’s house after they went missing from from the Verde Gardens neighborhood near the Naranja area at the beginning of the week, according to police.
