According to information from Tuesday s meeting, UNwineD 2021 will be held at Aaron Bessant Park, its normal venue, but be spread out across the entire property instead of confined to a portion of the park. That will allow guests more room to socially distance.
Jayna Leach, vice president of marketing for Visit PCB, added that the group also increased the event s attendance cap in light of more space. She anticipated it will attract up to 2,500 people, about 700 more than in 2019.
Leach said ticket sales for UNwineD 2021 likely will begin sometime next week. The event will be advertised in a handful of popular publications, including Southern Living. Visit PCB plans to also employ seven to eight social media influencers who will post about UNwineD and the city for their followers to see.
