CAPE TOWN - The self-confessed middleman in the Jayde Panayiotou murder is expected to stand trial later this year.
The Gqeberha school teacher was kidnapped and killed in 2015 and her husband Christopher Panayiotou was convicted of orchestrating her murder.
Two others have been jailed, while middleman Luthando Siyoni is accused of arranging a hitman.
He appeared in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Monday.

The man accused of helping convicted killer Christopher Panayiotou arrange his wife’s murder will finally have his turn in the high court in Gqeberha later in 2021.
Luthando Siyoni, the former state witness who did an about-turn in his testimony, causing him to lose his immunity from prosecution, will now stand trial on November 1.

The man who admitted that he sourced a hitman to kill Eastern Cape teacher Jayde Panayiotou is expected to be tried for murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Luthando Siyoni, 37, is expected to appear in court this month in connection with the 2015 murder, according to HeraldLIVE.
He was the first person who was arrested in connection with the murder. He turned State witness, confessed to his role in sourcing a hitman and implicated Jayde s husband, Christopher Panayiotou, as the one who orchestrated the killing.
However, he was declared a hostile witness when he refused to answer questions at Panayiotou s trial.

More than six years after the murder of Kariega school teacher Jayde Panayiotou, the alleged middleman, who went on the run after being declared a hostile witness, will have his day in court in May.

Nenembe is currently serving a life sentence for killing schoolteacher Jayde Panayiotou in April 2015.
Four months after Nenembe and two others, including Chris Panayiotou, conspired and killed Jayde, he and three others accosted and killed Denise Webber, 78, at her home.
Sinethemba Nenembe, who is serving a life term for killing Gqeberha schoolteacher Jayde Panayiotou, has been handed another life sentence.
Nenembe, 33, was sentenced on Wednesday in the Gqeberha High Court, for killing 78-year-old grandmother Denise Webber.
He and his co-accused killed Webber four months after he, Jayde s husband, Chris Panayiotou, and Zolani Sibeko conspired and killed the schoolteacher.
Nenembe and Panayiotou were each sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder, while Sibeko was sentenced to 15 years for conspiracy to commit murder.
