(westernkansasnews.com)–Both Hugoton and Scott City wrapped up play in the Sterling Invitational on Friday, and on Tuesday night, they met up at the Scott Community Event Center for a GWAC doubleheader. The visitors from Hugoton would continue their hot streaks, as they would sweep the doubleheader, as the Lady Eagles took a 57-21 win, while the Eagle boys pulled away in the final period in a 67-47 win.

The Lady Eagles would lead wire to wire, taking a 57-31 win, while the Hugton boys would use hot shooting in the final eight minutes to rally for a 52-42 win.
