BHUBANESWAR: It has been more than 14 months since the work-from-home arrangement started for many corporate employees following the outbreak of Covid-19. With confined to their homes, prolonged work-from-home schedules, managing household and family, the WFH is not going well with all. While some employees find it an opportunity to spend more time with family, others are wishing to get back to office. Amidst grief, pain and loss of dear ones in the pandemic, several IT and corporate companies have started giving incentives to keep the employees motivated.
“During the initial days of lockdown, it seemed good to spend time with family and exploring lost hobbies. But as time passed workload started increasing and there is absolutely no fixed time for office. Finding you at home the expectations of family members also increased, which has its impact on work. Remained confined to home for so many days impacts productivity, causes monotony and lack of motivation,” said Sushree Samal
