Nick Saban Adds Former Defensive Coordinator to Analyst Room
Nick Saban is not done adding analysts for the upcoming 2021 season. According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Saban is hiring Dave Huxtable to serve as an analyst for the defending national champions. Huxtable has extensive experience as a defensive coordinator at several universities across his career.
Huxtable was most recently an analyst for Texas in the 2020 season but his most recent on-field role was with the NC State Wolfpack where he served as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for six seasons. He has also served as defensive coordinator at Pittsburgh, UCF, North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Western Kentucky. He has led defenses in 15 of his 38 years in the coaching profession.
