SAN ANTONIO - A man killed in one of two deadly Christmas Eve accidents that police said were caused by the same alleged drunken driver was identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner s Office.
David Alaquinez, 23, was driving east in the 10500 block of Southeast Loop 410 at about 2:45 a.m. when a vehicle driving the wrong way approached him head on, investigators said.
Alaquinez managed to avoid the wrong-way driver, identified as 26-year-old Alejandro Montoya Rodriguez, but then drove underneath an 18-wheeler, San Antonio police said.

SAN ANTONIO Two people are dead after separate car crashes were caused by the same wrong-way driver, the San Antonio Department Police said.
The incident happened just before 3 a.m. Thursday in the 11500 block of Southeast Loop 410.
Police said the wrong-way driver, who authorities said was intoxicated, was driving a silver 2014 Mazda with a passenger inside. The driver was moving westbound on the eastbound lanes.
