The symbol painted in the traffic lane of Route 35 South in Bay Head, which is called a sharrow, - indicates drivers are supposed to share the lane with bike riders. If you want to try that in summer when the parking spaces are all taken, then the law will be on your side. Good luck.

I guess they didn’t have sharrows on those streets in Perth Amboy where those kids were riding their bikes before they were confiscated by the cops last week.
